Our coaching approach

At Recovery Addicts Peer to Peer Coaching, we believe in a path to healing that honors your entire experience. Discover what makes our method unique, who we help, and the transformative journey awaiting you.

Our unique breath-centered healing

A Sanctuary of Breathing and Wellness is not a traditional recovery program. It is a holistic, breath-centered path to healing — one that honors the full complexity of the human experience. Rather than managing symptoms or correcting behaviors, this program travels to the root: the unresolved trauma, the suppressed emotions, and the disconnection from self that so often underlie substance use. Through intentional breathwork, nervous system regulation, and a psychologically safe sanctuary environment, participants do not simply stop using — they begin to genuinely heal. This is recovery reimagined as transformation.

Who benefits most from our coaching?

Our coaching is designed for those who:

  • Have tried to quit or cut back — and something keeps pulling you back.
  • Feel like there's something deeper going on beneath the surface.
  • Found talk therapy helpful, but still feel stuck in your body.
  • Have done a 12-step or other recovery program and felt like it wasn't quite "you".
  • Carry anxiety, stress, or a sense of dread that never fully goes away.
  • Have experienced trauma — even if you don't always call it that.
  • Feel disconnected — from yourself, from your emotions, from your life.
  • Are sober but still don't feel free.
  • Are craving something meaningful, not just sobriety.
  • Want to heal — not just cope.

The journey of transformation

When you join our coaching, you embark on a transformative journey that includes:

  • Safe, body-based release — without having to relive the story.
  • Nervous system regulation through the power of breath for chronic anxiety & stress.
  • Gentle, compassionate reconnection to your feelings and your self for emotional numbness.
  • Interrupting the stress-craving cycle at its very root for cravings & triggers.
  • Rebuilding your foundation — from the inside out for shame & low self-worth.
  • Creating space for what hasn't yet been said or felt for grief and loss.
  • Returning to a sense of purpose, presence, and vitality for burnout and disconnection.
  • Finding meaning and belonging — without a prescribed belief system for spiritual emptiness.
